Group Organisation

 

 

The Chairperson, Vice-chairperson, Secretary, and Treasurer are elected

each year at the AGM in March.

The Chairperson, Vice-chairperson and Treasurer’s term begins immediately,
the Secretary on 1st October of the current year.

These elected officers, together with the Walks Coordinator and Walks Organisers and Planners,
form the committee (Steering committee) which guides and manages the affairs of the Group.
Other members may be co-opted to this group if the need arises.

A voluntary sub-committee (Walks Committee) is formed every three months to work with the
walks coordinator, organisers and planners to plan the next quarter’s walks.

A Social Committee is elected annually to organise Group social events throughout
the year.
